Expect quiet comforts, complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks, in a solitary 5 acre setting only 5 minutes from the highway. The hardest choice you will have is to either stay and enjoy the pool, tennis court, and fire pit, OR venture out to the many places of interest our area has to offer. There is ample parking in and around our circular gravel driveway, and bus and train stations are within 10 minutes from the house. We offer multiple living areas on the main floor, including a bright living room with fireplace, a dining room, and a den with a smart TV over another extra-large fireplace, and shelves of games to keep kids and adults busy and entertained. The third working indoor fireplace is located in our second floor suite named after Priscilla.

Outside we have renovated an in-ground, heated, salt-water pool, and resurfaced the professional tennis court. A fire pit surrounded by authentic Adirondack chairs is also yours to enjoy, as well as a patio in front which gets the morning sun (perfect for that cup of coffee) and another in back, where you will find a propane gas grill and multiple tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Our screened-in porch is perfect for lovely evenings with your drink of choice, before building your fire in the outdoor fire pit overlooking the meadow.

You will find there is something for everyone in our area of the Hudson Valley, or just right here on our lovely property. We also have close contacts with a certified, experienced yoga instructor, and a massage therapist who you can make arrangements with ahead of your visit. Book them early as they are very popular!

Pets

Individual pet requests are considered, and if approved carry an extra fee of $75 per stay (waived for service animals) and compensation for any damages to the house or property.

Guest Access

Once you have let yourselves in using a code (4 digits of your choice) you will enjoy all the comforts of home +. In addition to the house, guests have access to the pool and pool house (in season mid-May to mid-September), the tennis court, fire pit, and 5 acres of property which is exclusively yours to enjoy. Please take note of the Do Not Trespass signs posted, as our lovely neighbors are near. The smaller house (#351, white with green shutters) and the 4 bay garage are off limits.

Yoga and massage sessions as well as chef services can be prearranged.  Susan will provide contact information upon request for these extra services which you can book directly.  We strongly suggest you book them early as they are very popular!
